Our candles
What are your candles made of?
Every candle is hand-poured in small batches in Pennsylvania using 100% soy wax, lead- and zinc-free cotton wicks, and premium essential and fragrance oils. They are paraffin-free, phthalate-free, and cruelty-free.
How long will my candle burn?
Burn times are approximate: up to 40 hours for a 9oz candle, up to 60 hours for a 10oz candle, and 70+ hours for a 16oz candle.
Why does my candle look a little different from the photo?
Soy wax is a natural material and every batch is poured by hand, so small variations in color and surface texture are normal. They don't affect how your candle burns or smells.
How do I get the best burn?
Trim the wick to 1/4" before each burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar the first time you light it, and burn for no more than 4 hours at a time. See our Candle Care page for more.
Orders and shipping
How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat $8 per order anywhere in the U.S., no matter how many candles you add.
How long will my order take?
Please allow 3-5 business days for us to prepare your order, since everything is made in small batches. You'll receive a tracking email as soon as it ships.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at this time. We currently ship within the United States only.
I'm local. Can I pick up my order?
If you're in the Philadelphia area, contact us and we can coordinate a pickup or drop-off.
What if my candle arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or we made a mistake, contact us and we'll reimburse your purchase, including shipping.
Can I change my shipping address?
Reach out as soon as possible. Once an order has shipped, the address can't be changed.
Parties and custom orders
Do you host candle-making parties?
Yes. We bring a fully hosted, hands-on candle bar to your office, venue, or event throughout the Philadelphia area. Experiences begin at approximately 10 guests. See Candle Parties to request a quote.
